ADHD and Executive Functions Coaching

I offer my coaching services to clients with ADHD or ADHD-like symptoms. Coaching empowers clients to deepen their understanding of their unique strengths, realize their potential, and increase their awareness of how their symptoms impact their daily life. Through collaborative work, we develop goals, strategies, and tools that meet the client’s needs.
Coaching helps clients improve the skills required to cope effectively with increasingly complex and highly demanding environments (i.e., school, workplace, parenting, social interactions, etc.) and live a more balanced, fulfilling life.
My coaching approach is designed to address the challenges my clients experience in different aspects of their life:

  • Emotional well-being - addressing negative thoughts, negative past experiences, feelings of shame, failure, and limiting beliefs to achieve a sense of competency, inner peace, and well-being.

  • Improving Executive Functions
Executive functions (EF) is a term that refers to a set of high cognitive skills that we all need to perform daily tasks and navigate our life efficiently and successfully. They include attention, working memory, motivation, organizing and processing information, problem-solving, planning, prioritizing, regulating, and monitoring our behaviors.
Most people who struggle with ADHD have impaired executive functions. That's why the coaching work is designed to develop tools and strategies that will improve and optimize the client’s executive functions, such as:

    • Organizing the physical environment (at home, work, school, etc.)

    • Planning and prioritizing tasks and projects

    • Managing time effectively and dealing with procrastination

    • Managing impulsivity (response inhibition)

    • Initiating and sustaining attention

    • Regulating emotions

    • Improving flexibility and ability to adapt to transitions and changes

    • Utilizing Working memory

  • Improving Daily Routines

    • Many clients benefit from improving daily routines of sleep, nutrition, and physical activity that are necessary to achieve well-being, higher executive function performance, and self-regulation.

    • This process fosters clients’ independence and self-confidence and makes daily living enjoyable and more productive.

My coaching services are offered to college students, young adults, and adults and can be modified for children and adolescents by working simultaneously or exclusively with their parents.

Neurofeedback Training (Excellent Brain Method)

Neurofeedback training can be integrated into the ADHD coaching work and can benefit children (starting at eight years old), teens, and adults. This training uses the Excellent Brain neurofeedback platform for brain training and can improve focus, increase attention span, and maximize performance. Neurofeedback training can also be used to teach relaxation and mindfulness. The progress can be monitored using the MOXO-CPT (continuous performance task) test by obtaining a baseline attention performance and measuring progress during the training period (pre-post).
